Me and the team review BBQ pits as we purchase them and write reviews on the pits we’ve outgrown and no longer use. There will always be a ‘con’ for all pits we review at BBQproTip because we haven’t come across the perfect pit. We want these reviews to be as technical and detailed as possible for you, so you know what you’re getting yourself into.

BBQ Knowledge Base

In our BBQ Knowledge Base the team and I will get together ‘Before we drink beer’ and consider some of the things we’ve picked up through the years of BBQing and preparing meat before and after the pit. My plan with this section is to bring you unique insight or at least show an interesting twist to what’s already known in the BBQ world. Tricks, Tips, and Rules to Live by When you’re living the pit life.

BBQ Pit Reviews

In our BBQ Pit Reviews section, we review the standard BBQ pits. These are your standard pits that have your Briquet or Lumb bed right under your Grill grates. These are extremely useful and help new Grill heads get an understanding of how BBQ works. Most of us learned on one of these. Let’s not forget where we come from.

Care Tips For Your Pit

Our Care Tips section will discuss some of the ways we have taken care of our pits. I like to think this type of info is already well known but it’s not. So I would love to share as much as I know and hopefully, this helps you maintain your pit and keep your grill cooking great. A lot of this information is for newbies and beginners to the BBQ world. But, I plan to get very advanced as time goes on.
